Discover the world of fine tea through a private, guided tasting designed around your interests. Whether you're new to specialty tea or an experienced collector, each session is thoughtfully curated to introduce the craftsmanship, terroir, and character behind every cup.
Your experience begins with a $40 private tasting fee, which includes a 60-minute guided session led by one of our tea specialists. You then select the teas you would like to explore, with the cost of the chosen teas added to the tasting fee. This flexible approach allows you to enjoy anything from exceptional everyday teas to rare, limited-harvest, and collector-grade selections.
Every tea is prepared with careful attention to water temperature, brewing time, and traditional teaware to showcase its finest qualities. Throughout the tasting, you'll learn about each tea's origin, cultivar, processing methods, and brewing techniques while discovering how these factors shape aroma, texture, and flavor.
Each session may include:
- A private 60-minute guided tea tasting
- A customizable selection of teas chosen according to your interests and budget
- Learn about tea origin, terroir, processing methods, and proper brewing techniques
- Comparative tasting to appreciate the unique character of different teas
- Tasting notes and provenance information for each tea

Shipping Policy
1. Processing & Delivery Time
- Orders ship from Toronto, Canada. International orders (including the U.S.) may be subject to customs duties or import taxes—buyers are responsible.
- Processing time: 3–5 business days on average. This may be longer during peak seasons or subscription box launches.
- Delivery time shown at checkout reflects carrier estimates only and does not include processing time.
2. Address Accuracy
- We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
- To request an address change, email us before your order ships with your order number and updated address. Changes are not guaranteed.
- Please report any shipping issues within the allowed timeframe. Late claims may not be accepted.

Return Policy
We take pride in the quality of our products. Please read our return terms carefully:
1. No Returns on Non-Defective Items
- We only accept returns for items with manufacturer defects.
- No returns on tea products under any condition due to food safety regulations.
- Shipping damages are handled separately—please refer to our Shipping Policy.
2. Manufacturer Defects
- Minor defects (e.g. glaze imperfections, packaging misprints): We may offer store credit or a gift card as compensation.
- Major defects (e.g. cracks, broken items, unsealed tea packaging): We provide free replacements. Return shipping may be required (we will cover the cost).
- To request a return, please email clear photos of the defect to info@wuyistartea.com.
3. Refund Terms
- Full refunds include product price, shipping, and tax, but exclude third-party fees (e.g. customs duties).
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper storage are not eligible for return.
- Return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
