Description
Yixing clay teapots are dense and hard in texture, retaining the natural color of the clay. They are fired at around 1100 °C, with no water absorption, producing a deep and resonant sound. They are resistant to both cold and heat, do not give tea a stewed taste, preserve the tea’s natural fragrance, and conduct heat slowly so they are not easily hot to the touch. Even when used to simmer tea, they will not crack.
Made from carefully selected clay, they are breathable yet heat-retaining, able to soften astringency while enhancing aroma, bringing out the layered taste of tea more effectively. They are the ideal choice for brewing tea—especially Wuyi rock tea.

Shipping Policy
1. Processing & Delivery Time
- Orders ship from Toronto, Canada. International orders (including the U.S.) may be subject to customs duties or import taxes—buyers are responsible.
- Processing time: 3–5 business days on average. This may be longer during peak seasons or subscription box launches.
- Delivery time shown at checkout reflects carrier estimates only and does not include processing time.
2. Address Accuracy
- We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
- To request an address change, email us before your order ships with your order number and updated address. Changes are not guaranteed.
- Please report any shipping issues within the allowed timeframe. Late claims may not be accepted.

Return Policy
We take pride in the quality of our products. Please read our return terms carefully:
1. No Returns on Non-Defective Items
- We only accept returns for items with manufacturer defects.
- No returns on tea products under any condition due to food safety regulations.
- Shipping damages are handled separately—please refer to our Shipping Policy.
2. Manufacturer Defects
- Minor defects (e.g. glaze imperfections, packaging misprints): We may offer store credit or a gift card as compensation.
- Major defects (e.g. cracks, broken items, unsealed tea packaging): We provide free replacements. Return shipping may be required (we will cover the cost).
- To request a return, please email clear photos of the defect to info@wuyistartea.com.
3. Refund Terms
- Full refunds include product price, shipping, and tax, but exclude third-party fees (e.g. customs duties).
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper storage are not eligible for return.
- Return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
